Some questions about backup, verification recovery and recovery

I am backing up and restoring my Qubes, but there are some problems. I would like to ask for advice.

  1. I am using the backup GUI interface, but when the backup progress bar reaches 100%, finish is always gray, but I use the ps aux command to show that there are no processes in the background. Is the backup complete?

  2. When I went to verify the backup, the progress bar kept moving, but no progress value was displayed. I went to ps aux to display the CPU percentage, but after 1-2 hours, I did not see any vm being successfully verified. They were all displayed as being verified. Is this normal? How to monitor the verification and backup process commands well?

By the way, I forgot to mention it. Although the finish button is always gray after backing up 100%, I see that the compressed package in my mobile hard drive is indeed very large.

The latest news: It only shows that the verification is successful, and a directory connected to the mobile hard disk pops up, but the finish is still gray. Is it probably a bug?

It would be nice if you explained how you managed to fix your issue, in case someone else has the same one in the future

Maybe this is a bug in 4.2. After backup or test recovery, finish is always gray. Just check if the progress bar is 100%. Then enter the ps aux command to check the cup or RAM usage. If it is not working, you don’t need to worry about whether the finish button is gray. There is no such problem on 4.3.
