I’ve been using Qubes 4.3 for a while now, and it’s been very stable with no bugs so far.
Compared to 4.2, the biggest changes are the replacement of some system icons and a new UI for certain interfaces.
There are still a few minor issues:
- Compared to 4.2, the USB management interface no longer displays disk sizes. Sometimes I need to distinguish partitions based on their size. While not a major issue, I don’t understand why this change was made.
- Fedora 41 repository has removed the “onboard” package, which is almost the best on-screen keyboard for qubes, low-dependency, and very stable. On-screen keyboard can prevent information leaks in certain scenarios. The on-screen keyboard packages in the repository are either incomplete or unusable under X11.
