Tried snap and flatpack for intelij and netbeans in a standalone. They install (snap list returns them and showing in the application list section) but neither launch after being clicked. I was able to install netbeans before, I believe through the snap store but it was very laggy.

In the process of doing so. Terminal returns “initializing download” for both .tar.gzs but /tmp contains some random null files.

Followed your instructions. Ended up downloading IdeaIC-2023.1.tar.gz via browser in a separate Qube and copied it over. Extracted via tar -xzf and followed instructions in Install-Linux-tar.txt > cd into installation home/bin and run .idea/sh to launch IDE and initialize config files.
