In Qubes OS 4.3, just like in 4.2, the screen locks every 5 to 10 minutes if I leave the PC idle! I want to change this, but I’ve already gone into system settings, power manager, and set the screen power management to never suspend or hibernate. I’ve adjusted the other options to never suspend or hibernate, and increased the time to 60 minutes before locking the screen, etc. Nothing works!
I need to know how to change this urgently, as it is impossible to watch videos on Qubes! When watching a video, one doesn’t keep typing or moving the mouse but stays still watching the video in MP4 or on websites! After 5 or 10 minutes, the screen locks, and you have to keep typing the password to get back in, disrupting your video experience.
I would like a solution for this! Is there a way to configure something in dom0 via terminal? Because the graphical interface resources don’t seem to work! Or do I need to configure this in each appVM to extend the time before the screen locks or to never ask for a password again after locking?
