I am using “OpenPGP Applet” in a Debian based AppVM. When I try to encrypt/decrypt a PGP message, OpenPGP Applet asks me for my Private PGP key password. In the password entry box, it has a check mark option to “Save password to system Keyring?”. If I check that box, and enter my PGP password, it decrypts my PGP message, and SUPPOSEDLY saves my PGP password for that PGP key into Debians keyring, so I don’t have to enter my PGP key password every time I want to decrypt something. However, after a restart of the AppVM, and trying to decrypt a message again, the OpenPGP app asks me for my PGP password again, and doesn’t have it saved in the Debian keyring for auto-decryption. How can I get my Debian AppVM to use save passwords in the Debian keyring for application passwords permanently, and to survive a reboot so that I no longer have to enter my PGP password for decrypting messages?
