Restoring dom0 .config

I was migrating my Qubes install to another physical machine and I think I made a mistake in dom0. I restored the backup from the old machine on the new one and that all worked fine and I have all of my qubes. But then I replaced the .config folder on the new machine (in dom0) with the one from the old machine. After rebooting, almost everything in dom0 was off: the screen resolution was wrong (though that I could easily change back), the panel disappeared (and would not reappear if I tried to restart it) and I can’t stack windows on top of each other anymore (or rather, I can’t focus on a certain application window; for instance I opened a terminal and then the qube manager; the qube manager window appeared on top of the terminal window and for some reason I couldn’t select the terminal window anymore).

Is there a way to restore the original, post-install, config? I should say that unfortunately I didn’t make a backup on the new machine since it was a fresh install. So I don’t have the original .config of the new machine anymore.

Thanks!

I seem to have solved it by deleting all the . folders in dom0 that I copied over from the original machine.
