I purchased a VN54, which supports the Qubes OS authentication model, and reinstalled the OS, but I am unable to mount the SSD required for data recovery to sys-usb.
Could someone please tell me how to resolve this?
If you are trying to work directly inside sys-usb, you might try to disable the minimal-usbvm service.

I disabled it as you instructed, and while the USB drive is now recognized and I can open the files, I’m unable to restore the data.

What are you doing exactly? Is there an error message?
I tried to restore from the Qubes menu, but unfortunately, no error message appeared, and although it says the restoration was successful, it didn’t actually work.
