Remote dGPU useage from another laptop locally

Hey, I was wondering if there’s any possibility to use privately and securely my secondary old laptop that has dGPU with my current laptop running Qubes via local network or even better via internet, as I will want to use it remotely sometimes as I’m highly mobile. Like using the secondary laptop as a server for dGPU, but with privacy and security of Qubes os? I’m super new to this, but past week I’ve read tons of info in here on the forum and seems like it’s possible?

hi,

Not possible to offload rendering to the remote GPU, but you could install Qubes OS on this remote computer and use it remotely with VNC over a VPN.

So you mean to install Qubes on the older machine and use passthrough for the dGPU to one of its vms and then utilize it remotely? If so, it won’t fly for me, as that computer has very low RAM and the dGPU isn’t suitable to passthough. Any other options maybe? I mean, can’t I use it as some sort of VPS for GPU, as many cloud providers offer or something like that?
