Reflections on: Not Posting Every Symptom in Original Post

In the same vein as " No one owes you a reply." found within the Discussion guidelines section for support, most certainly No one owes you an apology.

It’s a shame that you’ve been “greeted” as such, I assure you “good faith” and “well-meaning” intentions are not present. There’s a defined model of user that’s accepted here and, if you don’t fit the mould the most simple things (agreeing to disagree) will likely become unnecessarily burdensome.

If you’re feeling discouraged right now, you aren’t alone. This forum can often be found to not be very welcoming to all parties. I’ve been messaged by several users, read quite a few posts and having my own miserable experience with difficulties sprung from rampant pseudo-elitism, favoritism & hypocrisy (not to mention the penchant to disseminate/support dis/misinformation or blind leading the blind). I’ve only been on a few days but, have read a fair amount of post/replies and, it’s clear to me that this “open forum” is regulated by a select clique who have difficulties practicing what they preach and leading by example. Overall, feels something of a decades long time warp.

I’ve not gotten any traction on it yet but, here are some other options for Qubes related discussions which may contain less vanity driven dogma.
