Re: Min VPN templates: Required packages for OpenVPN passwords

I’ve setup a min VPN template using this guide:

<h2>Debian 11 Minimal</h2>  

1) Copy debian-11-minimal template, I shall name mine 'deb11-min-vpn'.    

2) Run terminal as root on deb11-min-vpn (run this command from Dom0 terminal)  
`qvm-run deb11-min-vpn xterm -u root`  

3) Install the following packages inside the template:  
qubes-core-agent-networking  
qubes-core-agent-network-manager  
Mandatory Packages:  
`sudo apt-get install qubes-core-agent-networking qubes-core-agent-network-manager`  
For OpenVPN:  
`sudo apt-get install openvpn`  
`sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn network-manager-openvpn-gnome`

But I’m having problems with the password.
When I connect using a bash script passing the password to the script as a param, the VPN connects as expected.

When I try connecting thru the Network Manager applet, I’m prompted for the password, yet it fails to connect.

I’ve installed gnome keyring. I suspect I need another related package to make it work without exposing the password in a script.

Any ideas what that package might be?
