I’m interested to hear about your advanced installations of glorious Qubes, and if you decided to go with any RAID implementation.
It’s a bit confusing now that I’m trying to set it up. Input is very appreciated.

Found a couple interesting threads.
I was listening to the ubuntu podcast and one of the guys there
mentioned he just setup his new computer with a PCIE gen4 m.2 card which
enabled him to run 4 m.2 drives at the same time, he also squeezed more
performance out of it by doing raid 0 across the 4 drives.
Theoretically, and in some test cases, maybe...
Asides from the risk of loosing data, does/would #1 Qubes support pcie
gen4? #2 Is is possible to (if the hardware doesnt support it for some
strange reason) to do raid0 acro…
Hi!
Just a note as qubes uses thin-provisioned LVs (but not for swap by default): I could reproducibly cause a Linux kernel freeze when multiple processes started to cause paging to a non-encrypted thinly-provisioned LV (basically backed on SSD, actually two SSDs behind a hardware RAID1 controller).
As the machine had rather huge RAM (>512GB), I had used two swap devices: A smaller first one of size 5GB being a plain partition on the RAID device, and a huge thin-provisioned one with lower prio…

Got it working, Anaconda (GUI installer) crashed a whole lot and threw countless errors when messing with multiple LVM pools, partition sizes and pool members, but after about 20 restarts I managed to install R4.1 to my liking.

Id say it may be worth doing a howto guide but I know trial and error approach can often lead to forgetting which option was which
