Hi,
Qubes can’t boot with latest kernels 6.15.9 / 6.15.10
I don’t see usual Q screen where Qubes request to enter password (only terminal line for that) and stop to boot at plymouth.wait
Btw, I can switch tty terminal with shift+alt+F* keys.
please check my other not solved problems:
Hello,
After upgrade from R4.2 to R4.3 it was not possible to boot with latest kernel. I booted with previous, disable selinux at /etc/selinux/config and make some steps sudo restorecon -R -F /etc and sudo touch /.autorelabel.
Now, I can boot with new kernel, but after I enable selinux (eforcing), I can’t use any qubes (can’t run terminal or anything)
I see this at the logs Aug 14 03:45:23 dom0 xfce4-terminal[8116]: Failed to connect to session manager: Failed to connect to the session manage…
I have 2 SSDs.
One main SSD has Qubes and all AppVMs. The second SSD (thin pool) is for storage for one AppVM with a large amount of data in it. After the upgrade, it’s not possible to start the AppVM from the second SSD. As described above, the vm-XXXX-private file is present on the second SSD, but the AppVM, after the upgrade, searches for it at some other location (I guess).
I am answering to that post. Just in few seconds.
