I haven’t seen it mentioned here, but definitely worth a look-see …

i think we still need to wait for qubes 4.1 (or at least 4.0.5) to this became default

Why’s that? Is there an issue?

Currently there is some instructions on the Whonix website, I personally tried them but it break my Qubes 4.0.4 install so I had to do a re-install.

I would not recommend upgrading until it is included a new stable release of Qubes. Maybe @deeplow could comment on the above better than myself?

Ah, that’s curious. I found no issues with the upgrade on my 4.0.4.

Would also love to hear more.

I think I may have not did the correct commands in the correct VMs so it is probably user-error on my behalf. The Whonix documentation is not easy to read for me.

Qubes-Whonix 16 is not in the iso so it will not installed by default

No idea. I haven’t tried it yet. But looking forward to it

I installed Whonix 16 with the Salt command and deleted Whonix 15 later after confirming everything was working fine. Don´t forget to set your appvms to the new Whonix 16 template and reapply all hardening tweaks such as onion repos, apparmor, lkrg and seccomp.

Made a fresh whonix-gw/ws-16 install on my 4.0 - works flawless. Then I migrated it from my 4.0 to my 4.1 install - works flawless too.
