As far as I know, that's correct, but you should check with Star Labs to be sure. The original certification announcement listed the certified configuration options at the time:

As you can see, only Intel processors are listed. I'm not personally aware of any changes since then, but when it comes to Qubes-certified hardware, you should always consult the vendor's website for the latest information.
