Trust the Nvidia blobs, what is that suppose to mean? QubeOS is not a GNU/Libre distro either.
I've used Nvidia drivers in many distros over many years and have never had a problem, performance or security wise.
Sure I'd love to have an open source driver that worked at the same level, but is that going to happen?
I've played with the nouveau drivers on many different GPUs and all of them ran a lot hotter, to hot for my comfort level so I don't like using them. I believe cooler is always better and I always want the coolest and best performance I can obtain and nouveau does not offer this.
