Qubes r4.2.4 on thinkpad p14 gen 6

i looked into my problem and came to conclusion that i am unable to solve it or find temporary solution. i have thinkpad with amd ai 7 pro processor and qubes os version is 4.2.4. i can only boot usb drive by adding acpi=off flag, which disables both trackpad and keyboard. however, in qubes 4.3.0-rc3 it works, but this is just testing version. i want to use qubes, but currently it is not possible. will next release of qubes be stable soon?

edit: the answer is to use rc3, which functions well in most situations.

There will be an r4.3.0-rc4 and then, maybe, a final release after 5 weeks:

I believe that some users here already use the r4.3. If you have the choice between a release candidate of Qubes OS and a regular OS, I think the first option is still better :slight_smile:

I’m finding RC3 to be perfectly stable, you could just try it for a day or so. Most issues will be readily apparent within a few hours
