Pulling the latest linux-firmware package for Qubes OS testing. Fedora (Rawhide) still lags on v20241210. -
desktop-linux-manager v4.3.8 (r4.3)
. The Python code is reformatted with Python Black (discussed in pervious versions of the newsletter).
. The domain widget is reworked. You might notice a seperator between qubes list and Open Qube Manager menu item. -

. Each qube will have its unique/etc/machine-id(same as its UUID).
. It will be possible to hide dom0 time-zone from specific qubes by setting anon-timezone feature. -

Epilogue
There had been some reluctance from users to install/upgrade to Fedora 41 template due to SELinux issues and other bugs. Hopefully everything will be fully fixed and tested by Fedora 40 eol.
