Qubes OS No External Disk in Installation Destination

Qubes OS No External Disk in Installation Destination

I’m trying to install qubes os on my external Samsung T7 SSD 512GB disk. I installed the installer on a separate 16gb usb. everything is fine but I don’t see my external disk in the Installation destination. I see the disks on my system. I’ve tried NTFS, FAT32, EXFAT, GPT to MBR, MBR to GPT but it still doesn’t show up. Can you help me? What is the problem with this? Has anyone encountered this before?

Try using different USB ports. What happens when you configure it with no filesystem partitioning instead?

Try to boot the installer with latest kernel.
There is a separate GRUB menu entry in installer:
Install Qubes OS R4.2.1 using kernel-latest

Try to boot from standard Fedora Live and check whatever you’ll be able to see your disk in its installer.

I tried with standard fedora live as you said and I couldn’t see it there either. I also did AHCI to RAID etc. in my BIOS settings but unfortunately it didn’t show up.

Okay, What is properly formatted that qubes os is compatible with?
