If you want to expose a VM to your LAN:

You’ll still need firewall changes on the VM in question tho.

Although I ship scripts for this, I now use qvm-connect-tcp
almost exclusively. So much more straightforward and well controlled.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.
