I entered the correct password multiple times when presented the sign in screen but it keeps rejecting my password. I am 100% sure it is the correct one. This is the first screen where is shows the Qubes symbol and a white line to enter your password.
Could your keyboard layout/language be different from when you initially set up the passphrase?

… or just faulty? You can test in the grub menu (press “e” then play around typing).

You haven’t explained how you are so sure 
You are talking about the screen asking you about your LUKS passphrase, right? If so, have you used F8 to check the passphrase?
Is it the first time you boot?
Is there any log message?
