Qubes Backup loses selected VM settings

The Qubes Backup tool loses my VMs selected for backup (the Available/Selected dialog). It seems to be stuck on the set of VMs I used the very first time I ran the tool. I have “save backup settings” enabled, but the settings are not saved. I tried looking for the config file, The file /etc/qubes/backup/qubes-manager-backup.conf has the correct settings, but the Backup tool dialog is still incorrect.

You need to use the Qubes Manager, there is a column to check to tell you want to backup it by default, it’s also a setting in the qube settings.
