Qubes 4.3: what are the new disposables that start in the background?

Continuing the discussion from Qubes v4.3.0 Upgrade:

Hello, I have a potential problem.

After updating from Qubes 4.2.4 to 4.3, following the last reboot, the system loads a disp_qube which is only labeled “internal qube - do not run any programs inside this qube.” The description in Qubes Manager shows that it has network access but is using 6 GB of space compared to the 2 GB of its original template, default qube. I want to know if this is within the expected specifications or not.

P.S.: The qube only supports the following commands:

open log

kill

That’s a preloaded disposable. I’m still testing 4.3, so I don’t know what’s normal yet. Start a dispvm and it will become regular and start another.

Thank you for your response, I do not understand your instruction, I do not use volatile qubes so no instance of this type should be started.
So I wanted to know if it was an update problem or some external manipulation, which left it without any apparent function.

It’s the new default since R4.3.

So now when I start a system, a disp_qube will also open by default?

Set the maximum number to 0
