Qubes 4.2.4 boot sequence - login - questions

Hello Community

Thank you for your support.
I have been tinkering with quebes since 2018, and until now i didnt notice this boot process step.
i am running 4.2.4. .
when i first install the os, the boot sequence goes through its checks and balences of what is okay, and or failed.

after a few reboots, when the disk login screen loads, if you hit the ‘esc’ key, it will load the boot page instead of the login gui.

on the login gui there are these 4 lines
started plymouth-start.service - show plymouth boot service
started systemd-ask-password requests to python directory
reached target paths.target - path units
found device dev-disk-by \

there are these squares that replace the characters on 4 lines.
i can attach a picture if needed.

i am curious if anyone else has this same result
if not, should i be concerned

i tried to rotate the picture, but i do believe it didnt work. please forgive me.

thank you community

I’ve always seen weird artifacts when removing rhgb from grub, including while interacting with the luks password portion. Figured it was an issue related to the Plymouth overlay, but would also love to know. I’ve experienced this on fresh installs and in-place upgrades since 4.1 through to 4.3.
