I’ve just pushed the HCL reports of the last 2+ months and they should be available on the website in a few minutes.
I don’t see the changes on the HCL page on the website after 6 hours. Could you please recheck the changes @Sven?
Will do.
There is something wrong with whatever the update process is, by the looks.
Going through the GitHub commit history, some updates make it to the HCL database and others don’t.
As far as I can tell, most (if not all) of the commits on Jun 22, 2025 have not made it to the HCL.
Whereas most (if not all) of the commits on Mar 29, 2025 did make it to the HCL.
Some of the commits made on Mar 8, 2025 do make it to the HCL, but some do not.
For example, commit 21858eb1907ea80c6e2a0cb1e0d9a11c1fd096ea (the Google Pixel 2025 by @q4u) did make it to the HCL, including its incorrect hardware model name. But a71a18f0b764c15cf00ebc1a37afdb36703ee393 (the Dell Inspirion 5582 by @marcos-morar) does not make it to the HCL.
Even your commit 038e1be0bd6a490ec5a287a08563668ba58ffa16 on Mar 9, 2025 @Sven does not make it to the HCL, so the Google Pixel 2025 by @q4u is still listed in the HCL as the Google Pixel 2015.
A bit strange, but looks like the HCL on the main Qubes OS website is missing multiple updates from the past.
Thank you @mkowalski. I’ll ping @marmarek to have a look at it (I lack access / knowledge to do anything about it).
I remember there is a spell checker involved at some stage and that has lead to similar issues in the past.
@mkowalski should be all OK now.
Can confirm that my HCL report is now visible on the HCL official documentation @Sven and @marmarek.
But also can confim that many of the other missing entries are not.
Would recommend that reprocessing occur for all of the commits from Sven (if that is possible) - because who knows how long this problem has been occurring for? It seems like the official HCL list could be missing a good number of reports from users, making the list less complete than it should be.
Thank you @mkowalski for confirming your report is now available. I checked the entries of my last commit and could find them all on the website. Until end of 2023 I used to post links to the entries as replies and are therefore quite certain that no entries are missing before that time.
Afterwards, another user (I think @FranklyFlawless) used to post those links with a little delay. These too could therefore be counted out.
So verifying that none are missing is a manageable task but I lack the time to do it in the near term. I’d very much appreciate someone from the community volunteering to check and then post a list of missing entires should they exist.
I’ll see if I can do anything on that, once I have free time myself (unlikely to be this week).
Thanks.
