Perhaps there should be a thread here solely dedicated to logging just these sort of surprises that are very difficult to attribute and so not able to be recorded as a formal issue. Too easy just to blame the hardware. They do seem to happen quite often since 4.1.

QubesOS freeze, crash and reboots

I updated QubesOS using the command sudo qubes-dom0-update and after it completed QubesOS crashes 3 or 4 times per day which makes working really difficult as you lose your work, open windows etc. each time it crashes. It happens when: I click on the Q at the top of the screen. It freezes for 2-4 seconds, crashes, and machine reboots.
