Hello, I need help, I went to install Qubes on an old notebook, I encrypted one of the hard drives on it, but when I finished installing it there was a problem, so I installed Linux Mint but my hard drive now appears encrypted, it asks for a password and I put it in. exactly the same passphrase, but it doesn’t unlock, how can I resolve this situation?
I’m afraid this is not Qubes OS-specific? Qubes OS use LUKS to encrypt the drive, same as Linux Mint I guess.
Are you sure the encryption process has succeeded even if the installation failed? Anyway, if the installation failed, you can erase the drive’s partitions and create a new one with your new OS.
