I’ve had a windows 7 template and corresponding app vm for a while now. I fully updated it with all the existing updates, and installed the qubes windows tools. Everything had been working fine, but I haven’t used it for a while. I recently tried to boot it up after I updated to Qubes 4.2, but it failed with this error:
I don’t know if this is a result of the update, or if its completely unrelated. But any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.
Try with ich6 instead.
Run this in dom0:
qvm-features Win7 audio-model ich6
