So a few weeks ago I discovered some strange malware on the unencrypted contents of my boot drive for a different OS, it was adobe flash files and images likely with stenography inside of it. After discovering this I decided to boot into Qubes and wipe the drives entirely. After about an hour of wiping a new undiscovered device with a MAC address appeared in the usb Qube but was unable to attach to the qube I was running the disks app on. Upon looking up the MAC address on the internet it said it was a Siemens PLC with a signal convertor. It was not able to attach or unattach from any Qubes but yet it was recognized. After I successfully wiped the drive the radio on the other side of the house went off and it sounded like an alarm. Strange, IDK what happened here but I wonder if it was related to the AMD PSP. I may be wrong but this incident seems rare and I wanted to share it here, unfortunately I did not save the MAC.
