Plans on new certified hardware?

Hey

Are there any plans for new certified laptops? Because i would like to buy a laptop which is fully compatible with qubes and has heads installed, but i also would prefer 32gb ddr4 ram, a full hd display and a m.2 hard drive.

The only laptop that maybe fullfills these requirements is the librem 14 (as far as i know) but i heard from a lot of issues with it and i’m living in an EU country, so sending it back and getting a refund could be tricky if it does not function as it is supposed to be.

It is suppliers who put forward machines for certification.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum or in the mailing lists I speak for myself.

Ok, then maybe i should ask the question differently. Are there any suppliers which want to offer certified hardware but are still in negotiations with the qubes team?

I guess such information is not usually disclosed.

Here on the forum there are several people confirming that it works fine with Qubes. Actually, it’s designed to.
