Any updates on this? I only use the Tor onion address on my system (I don’t want to use any exit node) and can’t install the latest xen patch update that came out recently.
I’ll post an update when I have one.

Where’s the SSL key for the onion site?
It does not need one. Onion services are self-authenticating: the URL
itself includes the public key, and the protocol proves that the service
possesses the corresponding private key. Therefore, onion services do
not rely on TLS.
