No Passwordless Sudo anon-whonix

I recently deleted my default, pre-installed anon-whonix and recreated one based on my workstation-template. After doing so I lost passwordless sudo. I’ve never had this issue with anon-whonix, so I was wondering if anyone else has run into this.

Another variable is that I recently upgraded both the workstation and the gateway via the Template Manager. After doing that is when I created the new anon-whonix AppVM.

They split off the system maintainer into its own user.

Ah yes! I did see this conversation some days ago, but didn’t pay much attention. Thank you!

To be honest, I only ever use sudo in anon-whonix when I’m being too lazy to boot out and go into the Template :sweat_smile: …the right way.

So this is a net positive. It’ll force me to do things more securely
