I tried changing my wireless mouse for a wired one like suggested. Now I am no mouse working and only the dom0 terminal opened
How exactly did you change the mouse?
Did you connect the wired one and it didn’t work and wireless mouse stopped to work as well for some reason?

Do you have a sys-usb qube? Do you get any notification when you insert your mouse? What is in your /etc/qubes-rpc/qubes.InputMouse file in dom0?

yes thats exactly what happened. I managed to troubleshoot it on another laptop with chatgpt in the end and get it to work. thank you
