No Audio Output via HDMI

 Hey!

I can’t get any audio output through my monitor’s speakers via HDMI. I have a MSI Z790-P (Dasharo coreboot) with i9-14900KS and I’m using integrated graphics. I have no audio virtualization setup.

Some logs:
aplay -L | grep -i HDMI

hdmi:CARD=PCH,DEV=1
    HDA Intel PCH, HDMI 1

hdmi:CARD=PCH,DEV=3

Did you select audio mixer and scroll the tabs to the very right? There should be a tab with the label “configuration” (AFAIR!). It lets you switch profiles via drop down menu. (Seems from the above pictures you are still on analog stereo.)

It worked! You were spot on.
I never knew there was another tab to the right. Thank you so much!
