New Qubes OS Team Member (Guiiix)?

Hello everyone,

I guess this is the best place to ask this question.
I occasionally go to the github repositories to see what’s new or coming for Qubes and I recently saw that someone was added to the github organization.

Profile:

I tried to find any information about this person, but nothing has been officially announced about them, and their activity on their account is very limited. Nothing on the official Qubes websites in either news or team members and also on the invisiblethingslab’s website.

I’m aware that some members of the organization are not real core team members, but they have made good contributions to Qubes overall. When it comes to this person, I have found nothing but very recent pull requests.

Am I missing something here?

Am I missing something here?

New GitHub profile does not necessarily mean new person.

This person is new to the organization, not to github. What I pointed out is the fact that this account recently started contributing and became part of the Qubes organization very quickly.

This person is new to the organization, not to github.

That’s what I meant too. It is possible that this is an existing old profile of someone who is already part of the team and has simply started contributing through it recently (e.g. due to technical issues with his main profile). Just speculating but it is possible.

The github profile seems to include the person’s full name, which is not part of any of the pages I looked at, which is why I made this post in the first place.
For example, 2 people have recently been added to maintain the documentation, and this was apparently announced by marmarek on this forum:

They have also been added to the core team on the website:

I can’t see anything for the other person. No announcement, no addition to any web pages. Even though they joined the organization at the end of January this year.

Yes, Guillaume joined ITL last year. Normally he works in other our projects, but when there is less things to do, he also contribute to Qubes OS part time.

Thank you for clarifying.
