Network Manager applet icons

Hi guys, I would really like to understand how the network manager tray applet is implemented in qubes. If you can point me in the right direction with documentation? I have looked through the github repo without any luck. I was wanting to experiment with the plasma network manger for kde to see if I could get a better more modern interface working with a more practical VPN implementation.

Hello,
When you create a new Qubes VM with the option “Provides Network” in the “services” of it, you have to add “Network-manager”. So you will have the applet in your taskbar.
