The following problem:
I’m using Qubes on a dual monitor configuration (laptop + external screen). Both monitors have different resolutions. It happens very often, that I have to search for the mouse pointer. Its little size in combination with accelaration results often in an unpredictable position on one of the displays.
I’ve tried to change the size in the configuration menu, but the settings are ignored. (Qubes menu / system settings / mouse and touchpad)
Is there any other option to reach my goal? Even changing this by manually editing or replacing some files would be fine.
I searched here in the forum and within that of other distributions, but I wasn’t able to find anything what worked for me.
Many solutions are for old xfce versions, but nothing works on the version used in Qubes.
