Missing Space

I’m confused how free space is calculated in Qubes OS.

I have 2TB SSD so the available space should be 1862GiB, yet Disk Space Monitor widget shows maximum space of only 1654GiB.

What happened with that 208GiB?

Similarly used space in Disk Space Monitor widget shows 1030GiB, yet after summing all my VMs as per Disk Usage in Qube Manager it only adds up to ~630GiB.

What’s taking the remaining 400GiB?

Your pool for virtual machines doesn’t take all space on the drive, because you still need space for dom0 and other stuff. Check lsblk.

Most probably recovery volumes, but there also might be delay between what you do with your volumes and space - see this topic
