Good afternoon. I have a question about the load on the qubes. I’m using a t480 tninkpad on i7 (4 cores, 8 threads). Dom0 shows 4 available cores. In my personal cube, I allocated 8 VCPUs. But even when they are fully loaded, the panel applet will display a maximum load of no more than 50% of the CPU. htop utility in personal qube, show 100% load. Is this how it should be? Can I allocate all 8 cores to a personal cube? Can i allocate less cores to dom0? Sorry for my english.
Qubes OS is disabling SMT (hyperthreading) by default for security reasons so you only use 4 cores.
