This is a solution only. I don’t like to post only problems all the time 
I had some problems updating my vm’s / template of newer versions as fedora-32 / debian-10 and that was only possible using the terminal and the commands. But I read that in the kali template thread and to change the default-mgmt from fedora-32 to fedora-33 fixes all those problems updating a template /vm with the Qubes Updater. I am writing this post, because I think it is very useful for people with a fresh 4.1 install and should the solution should be in a own topic
