MAC anonymization

Hello everyone,
I’m trying to anonymize my MAC addresses. I use a ethernet cable. I looked in the documentation but it doesn’t helped me so much. Anyone can help me with that? Thank you

You would need to perform this in your net-vm, which is where the physical hardware is assigned.

Thanks Plexus, that’s what I made, in the Net-VM… But it only add a second MAC address (this one is randomized) and the first MAC address is the same that my real one and take the name of ‘‘permaddr’’.

Now I’m trying that: Contents/anonymizing-your-mac-address.md at master · Qubes-Community/Contents · GitHub.
It’s writted that I have to modify the /rw/config/NM-system-connections/*.nmconnection files, but I don’t find it.

Anonymizing MAC Address Documentation Clarification

#use random IPv6 addresses per session / don’t leak MAC via IPv6 (cf. RFC 4941): ipv6.ip6-privacy=2 I think this should be clarified. By default connections use ipv6.addr-gen-mode=stable-privacy which prevents MAC leakage. Adding ipv6.ip6-privacy=2 is a separate feature which uses temporary addresses for outgoing connections (this prevents MAC leakage also). Anonymizing MAC Address when sys-net is Disposable?

Hi. I made sys-net disposable in 4.1. Do I make the changes listed here in the Template on which the DVM is based, or in the DVM on which sys-net is based? (Specifically: "Write the settings to a new file in the /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/ directory, such as 00-macrandomize.conf")
