Hmm, weird issue all of a sudden. I installed some qubes updates to templates this morning, and have run into some difficulties. When I rebooted the updated qubes, my VPN qube stopped passing traffic (wireguard using Fedora NM based on Solene’s guide).
While debugging why my VPN qube had stopped passing traffic, my dog toggled the power switch on a powerbar under my desk while chewing her bone. This took down the affected box.
After rebooting, I no longer have any keyboard or mouse. After entering the disk password, the main login pops up, but the USB keyboard and mouse are non functional.
I have not made any changes to sys-usb, the only thing I did was install the latest Fedora template update.
I have tried editing the grub config and setting usbcore.authorized_default=1 (was 0). I have also tried adding qubes_skip.autostart, but neither of them seems to help the dead keyboard and mouse at the login screen.
Anyone else having issues with USB devices this morning or is this just a me problem? Has 4.3 changed how USB devices are allowed?
