It shows in HCL that it’s supported but I had problems with the VT-d, spent hours and hours in BIOS fiddling couldn’t see a problem, checking intel’s website and Lenovo website it seems all processors work, But I had an i3-2370m which doesn’t have VT-d, Every other x230t processor works with Qubes but the one I have, So feeling like a let down balloon after all that time. Maybe save someone some time one day.
I think it does not show in the HCL that this configuration is
supported. In fact there is no reference to an i3 x230 at all.
As you say, the i3-2370 does not support VT-d
I’m sorry that you have had this experience, but it does underline the
importance of checking carefully in the HCL - if your target machine is
not there, then it is well to check the Intel/AMD processor
specifications, as well as the motherboard in your system.
I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.

Yes, I’m just posting so i3-2370 (x230i Tablet) can be added with a red IMOMMU section in the HCL.
I did not understand that intention.
Can you submit an HCL report please.
