After downloading and installing kali linux template >>

Can’t update kali linux

When trying to update I founded this probelm
Failed to apply DSA-4371 fix: dpkg-query: package 'libapt-pkg5.0' is not installed and no information is available Use dpkg --info (= dpkg-deb --info) to examine archive files. Error: Failed to get apt version

I think you see this message if you update from the Qube Manager.
Are you doing this?
If so, don’t. Use the Qubes Update tool or update from within the
template.

This was fixed in recent update for qubes manager in Qubes 4.1. It will be backported to 4.0 too, at some point.
