I miss the free thoughts and open talks, like what Rootskovia used to bring.
I feel that new ideas and new directions are being stifled somehow.
When new people try to bring new and fresh ideas, it seems like they are shut down by “off topic” or grammatical errors.
What made Qubes beautiful was the freedom and also the hacking.
The free software movement has somehow been overtaken by a ridgedness and I don’t like its direction.
Free thinkers are leaving and I think I am being left behind.
I love Qubes because it can give this freedom but more and more I think I probably need to let it go.
I hope new directions and free ideas could be more accepted,
We are in this together, against big tech, against the monopoly of M$ and Apple etc..
And the ever encroaching of the surveillance big data Panopticon.
I am very close to say we lost..
And go back to no tech at all.
Did we lose the battle?
