So, there are bunch of problems with IPV6 on qubes os. I believe almost all of them already have issue on github, but it looks like they have low priority because of impression of low demand. So, this thread just to say, that there is demand for IPv6 support and for some people like me, problems with IPv6 is a real headache.
What exactly are your issues with IPv6 on Qubes OS?
Is the current implementation not sufficient for your use case?
1 no ipv6 dns, so can’t use on ipv6-only networks
2 After qvm-features sys-net ipv6 1 whonix can’t connect to tor
And also after fixing all issues, ipv6 should be enable by default
This PR should fix the issue, but it’s stale for now.
Whonix 18 recently implemented IPv6 support. According to the developer documentation, Qubes support still needs some work: IPv6 Development
