Intel Corporation WiFi 6E AX211 & USB host not working

Hi all,

I’ve installed r4.3-rc4 on my machine but now I have the following two problems:

Network
Cannot attach an Intel Corporation Arrow Lake-S PCH CNVi Wifi (rev10). Subsystem: Intel Corporation WiFi 6E AX211 160Mhz to sys-net. In lspci -k it shows that Kernel driver in use is pciback and kernel modules is iwlwifi.
sys-net is backed by fedora-42-xfce template.

USB
Cannot attach an Intel Corporation 800 Series PCH USB 3.1 xHCI HC (rev 10) to sys-usb. In lspci -k it shows that Kernel driver in use is pciback and kernel modules is xhci_pci. This means that all USB-ports on my machine do not work. Touchpad en keyboard do work.

Both work fine on both Fedora 41 and 43 live.

Kind regards, Bloged

  1. Did you invoked lspci in dom0 or in expected to run it qubes (which one)?
  2. Did you opted for creation of sys-net and sys-usb during system installation?

I’ve solved it. The problem is libvirt and that Arrow Lake (Intel Core Ultra 200 series) uses bus 0x80 for integrated devices like USB controllers, with a topology that confuses parent device detection.

I’ve added the solution to the HCL report of this machine.
