Qubes sometimes will not install correctly and you have to do it again. Don’t pull out the USB during the reboot.

What installation media are you using for Qubes OS?

No, it is Intel i7-1260P 12 Gen from Framework Laptop.

Please, makes Qubes OS work with Framework Laptop 13 with Inter Core Ultra 7 165H?

This was a solution before: Append this line to the /etc/default/grub in dom0:

GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN_DEFAULT="$GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN_DEFAULT ioapic_ack=new"

And run this command in dom0:

sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

but 4.2.4 doesn’t seem to need this

Did you check your hash of your iso?

Did you reburn the installation medium?

Qubes is finicky. One zero instead of 1 and it’s game over.

I am new at those terms of “hash iso”. in the Intel i7-1260P 12 Gen from Framework Laptop is not showing the WiFi icon.

Details about verifying your installation can be found here, and general installation security/integrity considerations here and here.

just get gtkhash, then get the hash value listed and compare. to be safer, make sure the hash values are signed using a trusted key, but at least check the iso with gtkhash. a torrent of a sketchy qubes iso is not likely, but not super unlikely, but dns hijacking to show a different hash or qubes site being hacked to show a different hash is pretty unlikely. ideally do both.

if you can’t see your WiFi, it’s nothing you did, it’s a kernel issue, just use a lower kernel if it’s included

I have a problem with Qubes connecting with WiFi at times. If this happens, open Qubes Manager and restart sys-net. It will take a few seconds, but it should pop up a panel indicating it has connected with the WiFi network. Once you see that you should be connected.

Also, give the installation time to complete. You should see an error message if something goes wrong.

I’m still learning about Qubes myself, but I’m becoming much more comfortable as times goes on. It has it quirks, just like every other operating system.

I did visit the website of StarBook Laptops. And went to the section of StarBook Laptop Ultra have with Intel Core Ultra 7 165H for sell. If that company able to configure with Intel Core Ultra 7 165H. It is mean that is possible make it works for Framework Laptop 13 version. I wonder QubesOS v4.2.4 is not support for NPU chip like Intel Core Ultra 7 165H in Framework Laptop 13.
