Can I use my templates I have configured for Q4.2 when testing Q4.3? Or are they lacking certain packages?
Generally templates from 4.2 should work just fine (and in fact if something that worked in 4.2 breaks with such imported template it is a bug and let us know). But some of the new functionalities may not be available without upgrading the template to R4.3 packages.
Thanks, that sounds promising. I suppose I only have to manipulate the qubes-r4.list. Where do I find the correct link to the repository? And do I have to add a new keyring or will qubes-archive-keyring-4.2.gpg work?
Replace “4.2” with “4.3” in the URL. But you need also 4.3 keyring for that.
And BTW, currently there are no packages in the “stable” repo, only in the testing one.
Are there instructions on upgrading in place, or could one potentially modify the existing upgraded into place steps for upgrading the system to 4.3?

the most recent 4.3 iso failed for me.
The fatal errors occurred while installing software. Each package “does not verify” because key “BAD”.
I’ll try to attach a picture.
I got past this error by setting the correct system date in BIOS.
