Installing gedit or mousepad in dom0?

I’d rather not have to use nano in dom0

What is the best way to install gedit or mousepad?

sudo dnf install mousepad or sudo dnf install gedit do not work.

Do I need to download the Fedora-36 version of these programs in a temp qube, confirm the hash, move it to dom0 and install?

You need to use qubes-dom0-update instead.
