New Qubes User and one falling in the newbie category.
I tried to install on a SSD external hard drive Qubes 4.2.4.
My hardware is a Lenovo X Carbon Gen 7 , 16 GO of RAM,
I dowloaded it, checked the dowload, burnt the iso on a USB key using rufus and DD mode. I boot my PC. I previously disabled secure boot since I have Windows on my DD.
So far so good, I chose to start by booting from the USB. The installation process starts. I select language, keyboard, target destination ( The 512 GO SSD). The installation process starts then froze at « Installing python3-numpy.x86_64 (917/1140) » which would be located at the first 25% at the installation. I tried again. It frooze at the stage of the screen where i can choose the installation target keyboard etc … Tried again. Froze at during the first 25% of the installation process. I tried to burn the ISO on a different USB key. Same result .
I read on a different post that it could be related to be able to prevent to Qubes to install Sys USB (?) . That Said I don’t know how to change the content of the files in the installer .
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Update : I tried with the latest Kernel option. I reach to 50% of the installation. And then it freezes.
As a hack I m contemplating to download 4.2.3 and update it ? It seem a user had the same issue.
